Dynamic Ledgers are spreadsheet systems for accounting and business management using Google’s cloud-hosted G Suite.
Ledger: a list of transactions
Dynamic: (of a process or system) characterised by constant change, activity, or progress.
Dynamic Ledgers revert to the original and best means of data entry: lists. Anybody can produce a list. Our lists are dynamic which means (unlike those centuries-old ledgers) they possess thoroughly modern capabilities:
sorting – by invoice date, by customer/supplier, by invoice number…
filtering – to look at only specific customers’ transactions, transactions in a date range, transactions in a value range, transactions of a certain type…
compiling – Dynamic Ledgers automatically and continuously compile, from your lists, all the important management accounting information like Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Debtors/Creditors analysis, VAT Return, useful graphs and analytics.
There are no reports to run. When you enter an invoice in a list, you will immediately see its effect across Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Debtors/Creditors analysis, VAT Return, useful graphs, analytics and so on. A consequence of this total transparency is that through “seeing what happens”, you will instinctively start to make better decisions to cause something to happen.
These are Dynamic Ledgers spreadsheet systems.
